Been getting into map making for Neotokyo and NS2. Thinking about using a tool called Vi3DiM to create some 3d model map props . Vi3DiM will create a 3d model and texture of anything using just the software and a webcam. Watch the vids. Pretty crazy. :P

Yeah, it's only 19 bucks too. Free demo as well. You also need a printer to print the checker board. Gonna grab a web cam and give it a try. I want to have a Taco/Burrito stand in one of my maps, so I'll be trying to scan some delicious food with it.
