i'm really upset about the fact that ptb slays people for playing well. I just got slayed 3 times after going on a nice streak...and really its pointless: I went on a streak on one team, got slayed by PTB (and lost my gun), then had a streak on the other team only to get slayed again. If the teams are stacked and i notice it i will almost always switch after my next death. I don't see it any other way than a way of penalizing people for playing well: you play well and you're gonna die and lose your gun + all your equipment.

Auto-team balance switch live people without killing them...why can't ptb be programmed to do this as well?

Moreover, the fact of the matter is, PTB really doesnt work all that well form what i've seen so far. One team will frequently go on a streak and its not necessarily based on the skill of the playerson that team...everyone who has played in matches knows that wins usually come in bunches...PTB doesn't know this.

I made another post on this a while back and I also talked about how this is supposed to be a TEAM game, and PTB totally ruins the whole team aspect of it.

I had to sit out of 4 rounds because PTB switched me to the stacked team and I switched back only to be slain next round. 4 TIMES! I think the responsibility for balanced teams goes to AoL and L^2. We should be maintaining the balanced teams better, we don't need PTB

As mentioned above, any teamwork in a pug resaults in a win. Once one team gets in the habbit of rushing they take over till the other team starts to rush back(losing the first few rushs they do). My point is that is is not really the skill of the people but the teamwork they do. Perfect Team Balance I used to find also did slay me when I was doing well. I do think that when you have a good server like AoL that the regulars should be level headed enought to switch on there own accord when raping the other team.

And what happens when you alone are the sole reason your team is winning...?

Well, there were some incorrect settings on the servers, and we're trying to straighten things out.

To all of the comments about people knowing when to switch: Unfortunately, we've seen the stackage too much. It WAS better when PTB was running before.

The fact that you die and lose your gun is not something we can avoid with a secondary plugin, as far as I know. Lucky is researching a way to do it, but I think I've actually researched this in the past, and there was no way.

autoteambalance just doesn't cut it. If VALVe would give a command that allowed an event to switch someone while alive, it would be a cinch to recreate ptb to use those commands. But VALVe has no such commands.

Anyway, enough for now. Things will continue to be tweaked to try to avoid, as much as possible, the slay move scenario.

Who cares if you die and lose your gun. It's helping make both teams balanced to some extent, meaning much more enjoyable play.
Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of 'hot xxx galore'. While I clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", I muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.
