1. Don't even try to hack on our servers.

If VAC doesn't catch you, if Cheating Death doesn't catch you, we will, or our regulars will. We get demos ALL the time from our regulars. Why do they take the time out to watch you hack? So that they can enjoy a hack free server. They do it for themselves, and other players. So don't even try it. And if you're new on the server, good luck trying to figure out who plays there regularly.

2. Using exploits is the same as cheating.

To exploit something means to use it to the fullest advantage. And using something that wasn't intended to be part of the game or was intended to be used by players in a map means you're using a exploit. I've seen people boost through ceilings which shouldn't be happening at all, because the map creators didn't intend for players to go through ceilings and walls. If you're using a map glitch/exploit, stop now. If you get caught once, you'll get warned only once. You get caught twice, you'll be finding another server to play on.

3. Please don't be a racist prick.

Nobody likes ignorant idiots. And it's the year 2004. I personally believe that people should be judged by their character, not their skin color. So don't make yourself look bad. I don't tolerate ignorance, I've had to deal with it most of my life, and I won't stand for it when I'm using my free time to try to enjoy a game.

4. Nobody likes an ass.

So having fun intentionally TKing your teammates or wounding them? Blinding your teammates with the Flashbangs? Blocking doorways? Stealing hostages? Not planting the bomb when you're supposed to and your whole team is telling you to do it? Not even going to try to defuse without explaining why? Excessively spawn camping because you think you can do it when you've got a objective to complete? Going AFK without going into Spectator mode? Well, chances are, there's probably at least 10 to 18 other people waiting for you to complete the team objective or for you to die. If you're not helping the team, you're not helping anyone. Counter-Strike is a team oriented game. If you want Deathmatch, go find another server to play on or another game. Don't waste our time, and don't ruin someone else's fun. If you're not here to have a good game of CS, then don't play on our servers.

5. Voice comm abuse doesn't make you cool.

Carry your personal conversations elsewhere. Get a phone, get a chatroom, send some instant messages, send e-mail. I'm trying to play a game. What are you doing here? Singing on voice comm doesn't make you the next American Idol. This is not a karaoke server. If I wanted to hear teenagers sing horrible songs, I would turn on the radio or watch some MTV. Voice comm is not your personal limelight to showcase your horrible singing, or your deep conversations about what was on last night's episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. If your entire team team and the admin is telling you to be quiet or to shut up, get a clue. If you don't figure it out, we can arrange for your conversation to be held somewhere off the server.

6. Check the ego at the door, I don't care who you are, I don't care that you need a clan.

I don't care how 1337 you proclaim yourself to be, I don't care who you clan for, what caliber of play you think you're at, I don't care if you're some quasi-internet celebrity amongst fanboys, I don't care that you're looking for a clan or better off, that you need one. You're oh so 1337 or h4x, you're so damn good, you must be the almighty CS god. Okay, get your damn head out of the gutter, quit spamming "0wn3d" everytime you kill someone, stop spraying my damn corpse when you didn't even shoot me, and check your fat head when you connect to a AoL server. I don't play CS to hear punk ass kids talk about how good they are, I came on to play. If you feel the urge to run your mouth off, I will feel the urge to boot your ass out.

7. Speak like you're civilized.

Yes, it's a M rated game due to the violence. And yes, we have swear filters. Why? So people don't get out of hand. When people get out of hand, stupidity happens. And when stupidity happens, we'll have that much more garbage to regulate. So save us the trouble and speak like you're a civilized person who knows properly english. Don't act like a punk ass immature 12 year old and think you can do it cause you can get away with it. If you feel you have to, you'll be finding somewhere else to play. Don't ask why you can't say it, just don't.

Now, if you've read this, don't come crying and whing that some "prick admin" booted your llama ass for any of the above. You should know better. I'm sick and tired of people asking why, and acting up because they think they can. It maybe a public server, but it's privately owned. They make the rules, you obey. Not a hard concept to understand. I try my best to admin and to make sure everyone has a good time, but if you want to test me, go ahead and try, you'll see I don't have a high tolerance for any of the above.

That's my way of explaning it. I'm getting tired of repeating myself.

I've already started with just temp bans for people who think our server is American Idol.

I've already banned 9 people myself in the past 3 days. And I'm only playing from school. I love how idiots can't seem to take a hint when I say "I will ban you if you keep this up."

Like today, I told someone not to boost up through the roof in as_oilrig after I saw him do it, I tried a second time to get in his way and stop him. The third time I just banned. I'm not going to waste time anymore.

Exploits, racism, idiot TKing - one warning and that's it.

I try my best to admin and to make sure everyone has a good time, but if you want to test me, go ahead and try, you'll see I don't have a high tolerance for any of the above.
I love the server, except for one thing about the swear filter - I know you decided to delete all white space when checking for curses, so that people can't say "p o o p y" and not get gagged, but it's too buggy ;). I hate getting gagged for things that didn't even resemble curses - I don't care too much about being gagged from text, I only use that to chat, but the swear filter apparantly gags your voice too, and that makes it hard to play.

Also, it seems that the amount of stupidity grows exponentially daily. It's like 5000 times the stuff I used to spew every time I get on the server. I'm constantly team flashed, TKed, and have people bugging the hell out of me on voicecomm. Usually, I'll tell them that I'll have them banned if they do it one more time, and they don't listen, unless I'm actually able to contact an admin. Yesterday, some guy was going crazy over voicecomm - I had no problem muting him for myself, but I know that's just like a quickfix, not actually fixing the problem, but only for myself. So, when he was the last person alive, I told everyone on the team to pretend they couldn't hear him. I then told him that an admin had put a "perma-mute" on him. He kept on saying stuff for about 30 seconds, and called me a fag about 200 times, and then stopped because he thought nobody could hear him. People do this stuff just to piss off other people and get attention, and it's annoying as hell. I think that more regulars should be put into L2D simply because there's hardly ever an admin around when there's one needed.

I hope that isn't referring to Pake over the little skirmish him and Reload are undergoing - I didn't use to have very good feelings about him, and I'm sure he hated me, but he's a pretty nice guy if you get on his good side. I told him yesterday that I thought it was rediculous that him and reload are fighting, but it seems like they both have pretty bad feelings towards eachother - if anyone gets in trouble over it, it should be both of them - don't blame one and not the other, because it seems pretty mutual to me.

No, it actually goes like this.

If someone exploits while I am on, they are banned.

If someone cheats while I am on, they are banned.

If someone else acts like an ass to someone then they get warned, if they do it again they get kicked and if they do it once more they get banned.

If you want me to simplify things then i'll put it this way, any serious offense (cheating, exploiting, racism) I have 0 tolerance for, do it and you're gone. Anything else gets two warnings, after that you're gone. I am tired of the same people doing the same shit on different days.

As far as the situation with Reload and Pake, I am unsure of what the deal is with that. However, I am pretty sure that it is being dealt with. Oh, and no, I wasn't referring to that specific situation when I said that.
