Thought I'd play around a bit and came up with this...

Bowling for combines!

Here is what it looks like:
Attached File  bowlingavi.zip   10.88MB   303 downloads

1) Save the half-life-072.sav and half-life-072.tga file into your hl2 save directory.
( C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\email@here.com\half-life 2\hl2\SAVE)
Attached File  half_life_072.zip   120.32K   22 downloads

2) ensure console is available
Click:
Options ->
Keyboard ->
Advanced ->
enable developer console (~)

3) load level and immediately hit ~ to open console (if you don't you will get attacked immediately by the combine)

4) in console, type:
ai_disable

5) hit ~ again to close console

6) pick up the "ball" in front of you (the dead body) using right mouse and shoot it (mouse 1) at the bowling pins (combine soldiers)

7) Turn to your right and pull another "ball" and shoot it.

8) You can go behind the "ball" and just shoot her from there with mouse 1 over and over also.

9) if you want to slow their flight down, go into console and type:
phys_timescale .1
note: default is 1 to change back

10) Just load the level again to "reset" the pins. You won't have to disable the ai again though. If you type ai_disable again, it will enable the ai, and they will start to attack you.

Have fun!

note: I posted this on the steampowered forums also, and linked to the two download files in this post. Wonder how many people will actually try it. DOH
