I installed all 5 disks. I entered cd key. THEN it tells me that I need to run the install program found on the CD to authenticate the key. Um... circular argument isnt it?

1) collect all of your cd's, you will need them for this process

4) Take all the cd's and put them together

5) get the manual now, and put them with the cd's

did you check the steam forums? I remember I was missing a few files in the installation, although I didn't have the problem you did
