One of the original founders of AoL, [AoL]d3th, will be moving later this month. He has been the man who got [AoL] initially going by providing hosting for our original servers. AoL-1 (aka vip aka regular cs 1.6) and this website are still there, but not for much longer. Lets all take a moment to thank d3th and his efforts to keep our presence on-line at the original site, for what?, like three years now!

Fortunately, this is not as bad as it seems. Renshai has been providing another site to have some servers at, which is where AoL-War3 and AoL-War3-2 are at right now. And a recent stroke of good luck is allowing that site's bandwidth to be increased significantly. It will easily handle the increased load. So, we are planning on having downtown at some point in the future to get things shifted over. Please bear with us if one day you go to jump on the servers and they are all down. They may be down for a few days and be completely unannounced. This is likely to happen towards the end of this month or sometime next month.

Just check back here and we will keep you posted.

Of course I'll come back every now and then, but I'll be Mr. Huge nasty ping boy. I'm headed out into the wilds of Utah, and the place I'm gonna be staying barely has dial-up. I'll be back in 28.8 land for at least a while, and then most likely sattelite, which is pretty much the only thing worse for your ping than dial up. I'll swing by though with a great big ol' target in the middle of my back. Of course, some of you won't need the target...........

Lucky, after the switch will both servers remain as war3 servers or will one be changed back to normal CS?

All servers will remain what they are, at least initially. We have to see how things settle out before deciding to make any changes or do anything differently.
