Okay, so I have Team Fortress 2, it used to work a few weeks ago and lately I've been wanting to play it again, so everytime it says loading/launching tf2... it sits there then when it dissapears as if it's about to pop up the game it says HL2.exe has crashed.. (in vista terms) and makes me look for solution etc..

Now I've uninstalled it 3 times and still does the same thing. I even downloaded Half Life 2 on my computer and it works just fine, it loads and doesnt crash. I looked at some of the FAQ on steam but its stupid stuff, I know all my drivers are up to date, bios is, and even the "interrfence" programs I didnt have any of those programs open.. and I have 50 gigs of hardrive left just to null out that I have no room for cache or any bs like that.. I have a 2.6 dual core with 2 gig ddr2 and radeon x1950 sooo any ideas?

thanks guys

Maybe a Vista issue? Sorry I dont have power at my house right now so can't help much. I think there is a cache file you need to delete if I remember correctly. Thats my best guess.

Strange, any logs in the Valve directories? Any other info you can give us?
